Utilizing fiberglass molding techniques originally developed for the boat manufacturing industry, ASI designed totally seamless fiberglass door panels for food processing and cold storage applications.
Building on the success in the food industry, ASI recognized the potential benefits of using similar materials and methods of construction for other clean process industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing. In the beginning, the first pharmaceutical doors were simply a modified version of the existing food and beverage products. Through years of research and development and interviews with countless manufacturing, engineering and facilities management personnel at various pharmaceutical companies, ASI developed the first “CleanSeal” door.
